Training Camp 2 includes eight organized training sessions, all prepared on new maps. Most of the courses have been designed by the JWOC 2027 course setters, providing high-quality preparation in terrains relevant to the championships.
The first three days of the training camp include two training sessions per day. On Saturday, 24 October, a long-distance training will be offered with a competition-style start, followed by a middle-distance training on Sunday, 25 October.
Organization
Two training sessions are offered each day during the first three days of the training camp:
Morning training from 09:30 to 11:30
Afternoon training from 15:00 to 17:00
Control collection takes place two hours after the start of each training session.
For selected trainings, mass starts will be organized at 09:30 or 15:00. For all other trainings, participants may start freely within the training time window. For the Saturday and Sunday competition-style trainings, participants will start according to the published start lists.
Maps will be distributed at the parking area. Three course options are available: Women, Men and Short. Control descriptions will be printed on the map and will also be available separately at map collection, except for trainings with a mass start.
The printed maps will be of the same quality and material and will be produced by the same printing company as those used for JWOC 2027.
Controls and timing
Control flags and SPORTident timing will be used for all trainings. For trainings with forkings, a mass start is recommended at 09:30 or 15:00. For all other trainings, participants may start at any time using a start punching unit. For the Saturday and Sunday competition-style trainings, participants will start according to the published start lists.

The organizer does not provide accommodation for individual athletes. Teams interested in accommodation during the training camp are welcome to contact us at office@jwoc2027.pl. We will do our best to assist in finding suitable options, depending on availability.

Guidelines
To ensure a successful JWOC 2027 in Lower Silesia, Poland, we kindly ask all teams and athletes to follow the guidelines below during training. We have established good cooperation with local authorities and landowners, and it is important that we maintain these positive relationships. Our aim is for local communities to welcome participants and look forward to the JWOC competitions in July 2027.
Please observe the following rules:
Embargoed areas must be strictly respected.
Motorized vehicles are not allowed on forest roads unless traffic signs clearly indicate that the road is open to public traffic.
