Bulletin 2 for the Junior World Orienteering Championships 2027 has been published and is now available on the JWOC 2027 website.
The new bulletin brings together the key information needed by teams as preparations for the championship continue. It includes updated details on the programme, Event Centre, access and transport, entries, fees, accommodation, payments, punching system, media registration, embargoed areas, training opportunities and public races.
A major part of Bulletin 2 is dedicated to practical team information. Entries will open via IOF Eventor on 18 January 2027, with the Team Size Entry deadline set for 12 May 2027 and the Team Names Entry deadline set for 2 July 2027. The bulletin also presents the official entry fees, SIAC rental rules, payment schedule and accommodation options in Polanica-Zdrój.
Teams can also find the first detailed competition information for all JWOC 2027 races: Sprint, Sprint Relay, Long, Middle and Forest Relay. The bulletin includes map scales, course setters, expected winning times, preliminary course lengths and short descriptions of the terrain types that will shape the championship week in Lower Silesia.
Bulletin 2 also confirms the official training programme, including Sudety Cup 2026, JWOC 2027 Test Races, three official Training Camps and training maps available in the JWOC-relevant terrains. These opportunities are designed to help teams prepare for the technical, physical and varied terrain of Lower Silesia.
We encourage all teams, athletes, officials and supporters to read Bulletin 2 carefully and follow the JWOC 2027 website for future updates.
