Preparations for the Junior World Orienteering Championships 2027 are progressing and official training opportunities will soon become available for teams and athletes preparing for the event.

Training Maps

Training maps will be available both in connection with official training camps and outside the organized camp periods. A dedicated training bulletin will be published on the JWOC 2027 website in March 2026, providing detailed information about available training areas, types of training, permitted periods of use, and procedures for ordering training materials.

This approach allows teams to plan their preparations flexibly while respecting embargo rules and access regulations.

Official Training Camps

Three official training camps will be organized ahead of JWOC 2027. The camps will offer high-quality maps with marked controls and access to terrains representative of the championship areas. Coordinated by the JWOC organizers, they are designed to support teams in their preparation for the specific characteristics of Lower Silesian terrain.

Training Camp 1 will take place on 3–5 August 2026 (3 days).
Training Camp 2 is scheduled for 21–25 October 2026 (5 days).
Training Camp 3 will be held on 21–25 April 2027 (5 days).
